Changhong Fu received his Ph.D. degree in Robotics and Automation from the Computer Vision and Aerial Robotics (CVAR) Laboratory, Technical University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain. During his Ph.D. studies, he held two research positions at the School of Earth and Space Exploration (SESE), Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, USA, and the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, respectively. Upon obtaining his Ph.D., he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at NTU. He is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Tongji University, Shanghai, China, and leads more than five cutting-edge research projects and advanced industrial application programs. In addition, he has published over 100 high-quality papers in top-tier international journals and conferences (including IEEE GRS Magazine, AI Review, IEEE T-PAMI, IEEE T-II, IEEE T-ITS, IEEE T-MC, IEEE T-GRS, IEEE T-CSVT, IEEE T-MM, IEEE T-MECH, IEEE T-IE, IEEE RA-L, CVPR, NeurIPS, ICCV, ICRA, IROS), focusing on edge intelligence-based visual perception and motion control for unmanned systems (US). He has been the recipient of several prestigious academic awards, including the Toshio Fukuda Best Paper Award in Mechatronics, the Best Paper in AI in Robotics Award, and the CIIF University Exhibition Innovation Award. He has also been consecutively listed in Stanford University’s World's Top 2% Scientists.
